Virginia Digital Photo Safaris

 

 

Our 2009 Virginia Photo Safari schedule has been designed to provide the photographer (both experienced and beginner) with an opportunity to advance their personal photography skills.

We offer a unique itinerary including half day, full day, and multi day safaris. This provides an opportunity for an affordable getaway and a chance to meet new people who enjoy photography. Our safari destinations cover a wide range of locations offering you some unique photo opportunities. If you enjoy birds, animals, macro flower photography, or airplanes, we have a safari that will interest you.

Jack Nevitt and Alan DeFelice are both professional photographers with many years of experience. They are members of the Manassas Warrenton Camera Club and have been recognized by their peers in local photography competitions and published in local as well as national magazines.

We limit the number of students per safari to 12. With two instructors, the student to instructor ratio is 6:1. This allows you to receive individual attention regardless of your skill level. We address composition, lighting, exposure, white balance, or whatever specific area is giving you difficulty.

If you feel you aren't ready to sign up for a safari because your photography skills are inadequate, we also offer individual instructions to help advance your personal photography skills. The lessons are tailored to meet your unique needs.

Virginia Digital Photo Safaris™ is the Northern Virginia's leading provider of digital workshops. We have been giving tours for over 7 years. We offer 9 unique itineraries including half-day, full-day and multi-day photo safaris. We specialize in digital photography, but you are welcome to use any camera, including Point and Shoot cameras.

From time-to-time we will be updating the site and offering some unique photo opportunities, such as air shows, hot air balloons, car races and other special events.
